Китайский фильм "Мулан", в котором одну из ролей сыграл Витас, заработал на родине с момента премьеры более 43 миллионов долларов. Как сообщает ресурс People's Daily, российскому исполнителю досталась роль певца из "далеких земель", попавшего в плен к одну из враждующих кланов. В фильме Витас, пользующийся большой популярностью в Китае, не только поет, но и говорит по-китайски. Сообщается, что певец настоял, чтобы его диалоги в картине не дублировались.
В отличие от других экранизаций популярной китайской легенды о девушке-воине, в новом фильме акцент сделан на ее чувственности и отношениях с возлюбленными.
